Air Products Selects Johnson Matthey To Supply Hydrogen
Purifier In China
WEST CHESTER, PA, April 12, 2007 Johnson
Matthey Gas Purification Technology (GPT) group, a global leader
in the design, manufacture and distribution of highly reliable
bulk and point-of-use purifiers, announced today that they
have supplied a Model GPT-20 hydrogen purifier, capable of
flowing 15 Nm3/hr to Air Products in Shanghai, China. Air Products,
a long-time and valuable Johnson Matthey customer, is a leading
global supplier of high-purity gases, equipment, systems and
services to the semiconductor industry. The sale was secured
by JM’s distributor in China * Gentech International.
The hydrogen purifier will be installed at a semiconductor
fab in China. Johnson Matthey’s state-of-the-art bulk
hydrogen purifiers are capable of providing 99.9999999 percent
pure hydrogen for wafer fabrication and they are the technology
of choice for China’s silicon and compound semiconductor
industry.
