These custom designed units use Johnson Matthey
Palladium membranes that are designed to process tritium by
separating hydrogen isotopes, as well as impurities, from other
gases over a large range of feed flows and gas compositions.
Proven designs meet the requirements of U.S. Government facilities
and utilize only tritium-compatible materials and components.
Features include "inside out" or "outside in" gas
flow design, robust techniques to bend and braze Pd/Ag alloy
tubes in a variety of diameters and a design that provides
an easy change-out of thermocouples and heaters.
